What Causes Nausea After Taking Buspirone?
Question: Hi, my daughter recently started taking BusPIRone. She has complained that it causes nausea. Can she take Ondansetron HCL tablets?

Although ondansetron can be taken along with buspirone but it will be better if she avoids medications with suffix setran as they antagonize serotonin receptors which are acted upon by buspirone. I mean to say that despite the limited problem they antagonise each others action to some extent.
It will be better if she used domperidone or other anti emetic medication instead of ondansetron.
