Brief Answer:
Could be because of drug allergy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

Ad cal-D contains calcium and vitamin D3 which are both essential for healthy bones and they provide extra calcium and vitamin D3 to your diet.

Mostly they are devoid of any side effects but sometimes they may cause some mild allergic reactions or side effects which can be easily managed by symptomatic anti-allergic treatment.

Your light headiness and mild nausea could be because of this side effect for which I will suggest you to take anti-histamines medicines like tab.Vertin (betahistine 16 mg) or tab. Stugeron forte (cinnarizine 25mg) for the relief of light headiness, tab.ondasetron 8 mg for nausea with plenty of water and fruit juices which both are available over the counter.

Meanwhile, you may discontinue using this Ad cal-vit D further for initial few days.

Consult your family physician or GP if symptoms persists even after this symptomatic treatment.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
