Posted on Mon, 18 May 2015
Question: I'm on my period , super nauseous and my scalp is really itchy. Could these symptoms be related to something or am I just having a crappy day. I have never felt nauseous on a period before and my flow is normal. Maybe you could give some insight please.

Brief Answer:
might not be co-related.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

You are having nausea and itchy scalp while on periods.

This nausea could also be caused by excess stomach acid that comes from the changes and imbalance in hormones during the menstrual cycle.

I donot think there is a relation between itching on scalp and menses.

You can take antacids and antihistaminics like benadryl. This should help you.

Hope you are satisfied with the response.

Thanks.
