Question : For about five weeks now, I have had a headache, nausea, vomiting, breaking out in a cold sweat, and dizziness at times. It is nearly everyday. I have reached the point where I would rather not eat, because when I eat the nausea gets really bad. Sometimes when I throw up, food that has been there a few meals ago will be there undigested. Like it just sits on my stomach without digesting.

Brief Answer:
could be non-healing ulcers

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through the description you have provided. It seems like you have a long standing problem of small ulcers in the stomach and oesophagus. The symptoms have worsened in the past five weeks.

I would like to know about your treatment or medication history. Please do write to me in detail about the medications that you are on.

I would suggest you to get your glucose levels and liver functions tests done. In case these are normal, then I would suggest to take omeprazole which is available as an OTC. You may even add Domperidone to Omeprazole. Domperidone is a prescription drug. You will need to get it prescribed by your doctor.

In case your symptoms persist you might need a repeat endoscopy to rule out non-healing ulcers. I would also recommend testing for H. Pylori infection.

Hope this helps
Regards
