Question: I have been off duloxetine for about 20 odd days. In the time I have also had a uti and was put on cephalexin. I also had a bad flue. Two days ago the cephalexin even is finished. The flue is gone but I have very bad feeling. My tummy is nausea and I have no appetite, very low energy and a general sick feeling with low energy. I don't know what to do now

Brief Answer:
You may need to get backon duloxetine!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Ii am so sorry to hear about this terrible feeling that you have reported. Though this could be totally explained by the diseases you have been through, recently getting off duloxetine may be a reason for this terrible feeling with low energy levels.

My advise would be to first monitor this and treat like normal convalescence following an illness. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and exercise often. If these fail to get you back on a positive trend, then discussing on the options to reconsider duloxetin would be welcome.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
Duloxetin is a great drug for this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

These are the newest and best drugs for depression. How much you take depends on your response and your doctor would vary the dosage(increase or lower) to achieve your desired dosage to control your symptoms. let the figure 60mg don't scare you. For now, let's monitor before rushing back on medications as getting off it is even a lot more difficult.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel feel to keep the discussion going.

Brief Answer:
MAintennace is often 60mg!!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Drugs are meant to help you and not for you to keep away from them. As long as you have symptoms, I will recommend treatment.. However, if you manage not to have these symptoms through other means such as lifestyle, exercises, diet, mentality change, etc., then I will encourage you to stay away from the drugs.

I wish you well.
