What Causes Nausea, Sore Throat And Muscle Pain?
For about 2 weeks I've been feeling nauseas, with a sore throat and some muscle pain. I especially feel my neck a bit stiff... In the beginning I thought I was having a cold, but I've never been nauseas before. I have no fever either and I function my daily life normally, but I have these mild symptoms for 2 weeks already and gets worse at the end of the day. Just for your info, I have sinus and rhinittis for many years and I'm used to have these kind of infections, but nausea is a first (no, I'm not pregnant).
Last year I was at the ENT doctor for check up and also because I noticed a lump in my neck (next to the throat). He said that it's only a gland and not to worry. I have that lump ever since and only one side. Not sure if these are just random symptoms or if it's all related, but the nausea is really not normal in me.
Thanks for your attention,

nausea may be ebcause of reflux
Detailed Answer:
Hello madam and thanks for using healthcaremagic,
Reflux can cause nausea and sore throat. The soreness is because of acid burning the throat.
You have to see an ENT doctor to confirm. Tell tale signs of reflux will present in the throat. Indirect larngoscopy will also show signs of reflux. You XXXXXXX lso need an upper GI endoscopy to confirm reflux. Also other conditions like hiatus hernia that can cause reflux can be ruled out with upper GI endoscopy. If reflux is confirmed than treatment is very simple, do not worry. You will need a proton pump inhibitor and a prokinetic and some lifestyle changes.
Small lymph nodes are common and you need not worry about them unless it is rapidly growing in size.
