Question : Hi. I've had a low grade fever for 4 days ,nausea, some vomiting that has resolved, but now my gut feels like it's on fire. Gripe water helped but the fever continues and now my heart feels fluttery, kind of like it sometimes skips a beat but the next beat is really strong

Brief Answer:
Supportive care with some work up

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Symptoms are suggestive of acute gastroenteritis. You need slight work up of blood and stools and ekg to be on the safer road. BRAT diet ( banana, rice, applesauce and toast), pomegranate juices, peppermint and yogurt till full recovery. Take 3 litres of fluids in 24 hours, prefer pedialyte solutions or any other electrolytes solution. Seek a doctor and let them run some baseline work up to sort it out.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
