Question : Hi I suffer with hashimotos and fibromyalgia which is resulting in not much sleep because of the deliberating neck and head pain I get. I've kept it pretty much under control with vitamins and Accupunture but now it's playing up again. My doctor is looking along the lines of me either taking endep, lyrica or cymbalta. I've read reviews and am really concerned on which one would help me more as my doctor is leaving it up to me. Could you give me a bit of advice please. Thanks XXXXXXX

Noted your concern,
Fibromyalgia is a disease of exclusion. I hope your doc has done tests like Vitamin D, calcium, vitamin B12 and CK before diagnosing fibromyalgia.

Most often depression is associated with Fibromyalgia and Cymbalta works better in that situation. If there is no depression, Lyrica works equally well. I do not prefer Endep due to sedation and similar side effects.

Yoga, massage, spa, physiotherapy and stretch exercise also work very well for fibromyalgia along with medicines.
