                                            muscle spasm
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. I am afraid there are no gases trapped in the spinal fluids. Also the psycho kinetic spasms are unlikely.
With history of skate board injury and these muscle spasms the likely cause for these neck pains is musculoskeletal pains secondary to compressive neuropathy. You need muscle relaxants like tizanidine or baclofen or orphenadrine along with some NSAIDS.
As far as avid reflux is concerned that may cause such pains but they are usually accompanied by other symptoms of gastric discomfort like burping, pain in epigastric region or sore throat repeatedly with dry cough .
Nutshell take some muscle relaxants as advised and if the problem persists get assessed by spine experts they will will run some labs and order some radiographs and we will have our answers.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
Regards
Khan
