What Causes Neck Stiffness While Suffering From Epilepsy?
Question: good morning sir
my brother is suffering from epilepsy disease since the year 1997. He makes a typical sound before becoming unconscious. He falls to the ground, his neck becomes stiff and this continues for 15 minutes. During that time he closes his eyes and tighten his hands and his leg becomes stiff. After 15 to 20 minutes he becomes normal and he dosn't remember what has happened. We consulted the doctor and he was given medicine for 6 months but it was of no use rather he was gaining weight and felt laziness. We started ayurvedic medicine which was of very little help. Then we consulted Ayurvedic Doctor in XXXXXXX in 2010, which was very beneficial but not curable. He takes medicine regularly but if there is gap in medicines for two to three days the problem occurs. Therefore, we need advice as we should continue the Ayurvedic medicine or get a full medical checkup so that the problem is cured. Is there any good treatment in CMC Vellore. We have heard that Hospital in Vellore takes care in every treatment minutely and diagnose the disease for proper treatment. Waiting for your response at the earliest.
