Question: I have experienced night sweats the last 2 nights in a row and cannot sleep. I recently had protected sex with a prostitute but condon was in use at all times. I don't have a fever, sore throat
. Slightly dry mouth and slightly white tongue. Also have extreme nervousness as I try to fall asleep

Brief Answer:
With protection it is very unlikely that you would have contracted a STD

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
If you had condom on at all the times, it is very unlikely that you would have contracted a sexually transmitted disease. The dry mouth and slighly white tongue could be due to improper oral hygeine and I would suggest use proper brushing technique, brushing twice a day, scraping of tongue and use of mouth wash. It is only if the problem recurs that I would worry.
What you express as night sweats could well be due to your anxiety. Stay relaxed and I am sure that you would be fine.
Regards
