What Causes Night Sweats While On Ibuprofen?

Question: I am a 48 almost 49 year old woman. I have had a headache that encompasses my entire head for 4 days. If I touch my scalp, my scalp hurts. I have taken aspirin to no avail. Ibuprofen does work however, I have had night sweats for the last two nights and last night it was extreme. I have also been experiencing muscle and joint pain. I do not have a fever and once I take the ibuprofen and start moving around I am okay but not great. I have a doctor appointment on Monday but was wondering if there is any other information that I should take to him and a possibility of what it may be (although I understand that without test there is no way to be sure.) -Mary

I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The headache seems to be an episode of migraine characterized by sensitivity of scalp.
The episodes usually subsides in 3 days.
If there is no fever, seizures, loss of consciousness, visual loss, then possibility of secondary cause is unlikely.
You should continue pain killers like aceclofenac or naproxen for pain relief.
Get examined and evaluated by the doctor.
