Normal thyroid profile rules out hypothyroidism
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
If the Thyroid profile ( Serum T3, T4 and TSH) is within normal limits, the cause of symptoms are not due to Hypothyroidism.
Continue taking the herbal medicine if its providing relief.
In view of your young age and description of your symptoms its unlikely to be gall bladder pathology. It appears more likely to be acid peptic disease with reflux oesophagitis(inflammation of food pipe).
Following could be predisposing factors
1. Stress
2. Irregular intake of food
3. Excessive consumption of caffeinated/carbonated beverages
I would suggest you the following which will definitely provide the much needed relief
1. Combination of Proton pump inhibitor and anti-emetic : Suppressing the gastric acid by Pantoprozole and stomach motility increasing drug like Domperidone will provide much needed relief
2. Regularize food intake
3. Liquid antacid: Antacid containing Simethicone will be helpful.
4. Avoid caffeinated /carbonated / alcoholic beverages
In case the symptoms persists you will require further evaluation by your Physician.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
