Brief Answer:
They can be related, but is not necessary to be concerned.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

If the same hit caused first concussion and after nose bleeding, generally depends on hit location. (especially if the hit was located at front or face).

Probably the hit caused soft tissue contusion inside nose that resulted in today's nosebleed.

I don't think you have to be concerned more than necessary, since head CT scan resulted with no damages and you have no other symptoms related to head injury.

If the bleeding is repeated, you need to be reevaluated by your Doctor, about the cause of the nosebleed.

In some cases subtle bone fractures, or fissures are missed in CT scan imaging and can be reason for recurent bleeding.

Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Take care.

I was hit in the back left side of the head and read that if I had any bleeding from nose or ears to seek medical attention but I didn't know if I should worry since I had the CT scan after given them instructions and it came back normal if I should worry about the nosebleed that happened today.

Brief Answer:
If no other symptoms, no need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Just a small nosebleed, after all these days after head injury, without any CT scan lesions and other symptoms such headaches, nausea, vomiting, difficulty interacting with others etc. is not a case of big concern and there is no need to rush to ER.

If nosebleed or other nose secretions continue or repeat, and if any other symptoms, then you should seek medical attention.

However, since you seem concerned a lot, you can have a medical evaluation by the morning.

Hope I helped you. Best regards.
