Question : I am taking lisinopril, metatoprol bid, and aspirin 325 mg plus non bp meds. I can't stop nose bleeds in less than 10 hours (broke it recently in fall). Are these meds responsible and do I really need them all?

I read your query and understood your concerns.

You can't stop nose bleeding less than 10 hours because you are taking Aspirin 325 mg.

Aspirin is a member of antiplatelet group and it prevents platelets to join together during clot formation. By doing so aspirin prolong bleeding time.

Moreover, you are bleeding for more than 10 hours because of the trauma. You should stop taking Aspirin for a couple of days (3-10 days). All the otger medications should be continued.
