What Causes Nose Bleeds While Recovering From Cold And Nasal Congestion?

Question: I have this redness inside my nose for more than two or three weeks. It has bleeded once or twice when I tried to clear my nose when i had a cold and nasal congestion. Could you advice the cause and treatment. Thanks pic attached

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having redness with bleeding per nose.

Based on your clinical details, it could be bleeding polypus or turbinate hypertrophy. Your picture is not clear (blurred), There fore, I can not comment on your present status. Kindly retake the photo and upload it.

Meanwhile, put over the counter nasal decongestant (otrivin/xylometazoline) nasal drops 3drops/3times/ and avoid smoking (if you are with these habit) and stop consuming freezer products (curd/ice cream and cold breve razes).
