Brief Answer:
This could be side effect

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

Considering the short half life of Zoloft (24 hours), discontinuation symptoms are common phenomenon on abrupt withdrawal of Zoloft.

The common withdrawal symptoms of Zoloft are Flu like symptoms, shock like sensations, insomnia, dizziness, numbness, excessive dreaming with crying spells.

Because of withdrawal symptoms it is suggested to reduce the dose slowly over a period of 4 weeks. It is suggested to reduce the dose of zoloft 20% every week.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
Thanks and regards
Dr Ashok Kumar
