Question : I was standing at the sink when all of a sudden my right leg and foot became numb and it was like I could not feel my foot when I walked from one room to the other. This numbness is letting up now but I am still not back to feeling normal and my right foot is tingling. I am a 74 year old woman, relatively good health except for my arthritis, did have a small TIA in 2010 but have had no issues since. I've never experienced this numbing before. Any ideas and comments are appreciated. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Get examined by a neurologist and get investigated as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
There is high possibility of transient ischemic attack(TIA).
Is there any back pain , radiating pain into lower limbs, weakness in lower limb?
Any sciatica like history?
You need to get a brain imaging.
Blood investigations like blood sugar, thyroid profile, renal function and liver function should be done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
