Question : Over the past few months the ends of my fingers have started to get numb. I cannot hold on to objects and often drop items. I have a nagging pain running up my left arm from my thumb. My hands a stiff and hurt most of the time. I am 69

In view of neck pain, Possibility of cervical radiculopathy is the most likely cause of pain numbness in fingers.
Blood circulation related symptoms in hand presents with pain, skin changes, blackening of fingers and ulcers.
Are you having any diabetes, hypertension, vasculitis?
Get Xray or Mri of cervical spine.
Pain killers with muscle relaxant like etoricoxib or Aceclofenac with thiocholchicoside or tizanidine can be taken.
Pain modulator drugs like pregabalin or amitryptiline or gabapentin can be used too.
