Detailed Answer:

Hello Sir,
Thanks for writing in to us at hcm.
This is Dr.Riyanka and I am glad to be helping you with your query.

I have gone through your complaints.

Since you are already on cholesterol lowering drugs like simvastatin and antihypertensives like metoprolol and linsinopril, I suggest kindly get an ECG , holter ECG and an Echocardiography to check your cardiac functioning status.

Small inconsistent pain in the left chest may be at times due to Angina pain which is intermittently occuring. A 24 hour Holter ECG would be recommended to know any cardiovascular changes while the patient is doing routine day to day activities . This usually goes undetected in a regular ECG.

Therefore, kindly consult a cardiologist and get a Holter ECG as well as an Echocardiography done.

Do write back if you have any further doubts.
