HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

I need more information on your problem.

After how many days of surgery you have noticed this numbness?
What kind of Anesthesia was given to you? Spinal or general ?
Do you feel any weakness while getting up from squatting position ?

Numbness usually indicates nerve problem . This nerve problem could have happened as a complication of anesthesia injection or it could have happened independently.

Kindly let me know the details asked so that I can decide what is the cause for the nerve injury or problem.

Will be looking forward for your reply.

Regards.

This is there from past one month and for more specific from the day i got operated.Anesthesia was given on spinal and i really forgot to tell you that i have numb feeling on both the thigh's only front body not at the back..

i really do not feel any weakness but i m feeling uncomfortable while sitting..

I had just check with the general physician he says that the numbness will go after few days but still i do not see any kind of improvement on that..

Brief Answer:
Its most likely due to Anesthesia.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Thanks for the information .

Well I feel your numbness is due to nerve injury that might have occurred during anaesthesia.

Now the recovery from this depends on the extent of nerve injury. I would recommend a test called Nerve Conduction study of your both legs. This will confirm our diagnosis and also let us know the severity of the problem.

Also ask your doctor for a prescription of Pregabalin . This medicine will work on nerves and shall improve your numbness problem.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.
