Question : Yesterday morning after brushing my teeth, my upper lip felt numb. Today is still does. Is this an allergic reaction to the tooth paste or something that I should have checked out?

You might be having allergy to some component of toothpaste like menthol or thymol as many people have same problem.
Firstly You need to change your toothpaste.Secondly, you may try using pre brushing mouthwash.Lastly do not brush hard to sensitive areas.
