Question: numbness in upper part of left foot with more on right upper portion of the foot. gets worse when im laying better when i walk. no pain. ran my lower back over cylindrical nerf tube next morning numbness appeared. numbness has been there more than two years

The possibility may be nerve root entrapment at lumbar spine region or compression at other points in lower limb.
Get examined by a neurologist.
