Brief Answer: if it is persistent then can cause problems Detailed Answer: Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic If it occurs repeatedly or there is continuous obstruction of the passage of urine then it can cause dilation of parts of the urinary tract including parts of the kidneys. This dilation can be permanent. If the problems passing urine is not common or regular occurrence then there should be no effect on the urinary tract. Imaging tests such as an ultrasound can show if there are any problems with the kidneys. If the pain is worse on movement then it may be muscular and anti muscular pain killers such as ibuprofen, aspirin, cataflam, naproxen may be helpful. These should be used on a full stomach to avoid any irritation to the stomach. I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
