Brief Answer:
It seem to be due to gastritis or gastro-oesophageal reflux

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

You have not given the details of the location and type of pain. It seems that the pain is located in the epigastric region or upper central abdomen just below the chest bone. Such a pain generally occurs due to gastritis or gastro-oesophageal reflux. The gastric acids are secreted all through the day and are meant to help in digestion. But sometimes excess acids gets collected in the stomach. This could either reflux into the lower part of the oesophagus or could damage the inner wall of the stomach. In either case, she could get a pain like this.

The solution could be:
* Taking omeprazole once daily before breakfast.
* Taking small but frequent meals and avoiding long gaps between meals.
* Avoiding spicy and oily food.

Hope that helps.
