Brief Answer:
Scalp infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to health care magic.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concern regarding discharge from your scalp.

Oily discharge from the scalp occurs naturally due to abundant sebaceous glands present in the scalp.

These glands if infected can cause a dermatitis like condition which presents with hair loss and itching.

Scalp can also get infected by fungus which causes a condition called as tinea capitis. This condition presents with plaque like lesions in the scalp which cause hair fall in the regions infected.

Based on the details given in your query, the following are suggested:
1. Get a fungal culture done for a scalp sample and hair sample to rule out fungal infection.

2. Maintain hair hygiene by washing hair regularly at least twice a week with an antidandruff shampoo.

3. Quit worrying unnecessarily as increased stress also causes hair loss.

I hope I have answered your query satisfactorily.

Please get back if any more doubts.

Thanks.
