What Causes Oral Thrush And Flatulence When Diagnosed With Intertrigo And Candida?
Question: Dear doctor,
I was diagonised for intertigo and candida a month ago. I have some clarifications on the same, please do help me
Symptoms:
Oral trush, sticky armpit and groin, more belching and farting, anal itiching and ( anal burning during bowel only occurs when i had sweet ), laziness. I have strechmark like inflamation on my armpit and groin.
I have attached image of my groin where the strechmark like inflamation is present.
Question:
1. Is my oral trush due to one decayed tooth?
2. How long will it take to cure candida?
3. What food do i need to take so see immediate result?
4. I hope these strech mark like inflamattion appread
5. Why is my groin area becomes sticky though i dry it before my clothes.
Because of these sudden changes in past few months i am worried a lot.. Pls do advice me

I have seen the attached photographs also.
I understand your concern.
Regarding your first query, if the oral mucosa affected with oral thrush if in contact with the decayed tooth, then decyaed tooth may be the cause. Else it is more common in Diabetics, improper hygiene, smokers, immunocompromised people.
For candida mouth, oral fluconazole is the drug of choice. It needs to be continued for atleast 4-6 weeks for complete cure.
You should avoid spicy oily food. Rather take food rich in lactobacillus like curd.
The stretch marks are very well visible in the photographs. They can occur due to sudden weight gain or loss, due to application of topical steroids or intake of oral steroids .
As you have mentioned that you were dignosed with intertrigo, so you might be having excess sweating that makes you feek sticky. Excess sweating predisposes for fungal infection.
You should regularly uae dusting powder so that it can absorb the sweat and prevent infection.
Wear loose cotton clothes.

Thanks for the info Doctor. When should i take fluconazole? How long will it take for me to get rid of candida?
