Question : My urine is dark orange with small soft orange particles like tiny bits of orange flesh or fat particles. I have recently been diagmosed with a 3cm mass or stone in a bile duct. I have no gallbladder.

Brief Answer:
Possible Lipiduria.Renal imaging is advised.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

I understand your concern.

These changes in urine could possibly reflect passing of fat globules in urine.

This could result from conditions like Nephrotic syndrome/NS.

For this I advise you to get a complete Urine examination .

This includes Urine sugar,protein and microscopic studies.

A Renal Ultrasound is also suggested to document cause of NS if any.

Gallstones do not contribute to this effect.

Upload ERCP report.
