Brief Answer:
Acute otitis media

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that you may be suffering from the otitis media in both ear with severity more on left side than the right ear.

Acute otitis media may be due to the eustachian tube dysfunction causing by the inflammation, most probably by pollen grains.

Eustachian tube dysfunction with inflammation of tympanic membrane may be responsible for earache.

Nasal decongestant, Antibiotic, mild pain killer, steam inhalation and hot fomentation is the mainstay of treatment in this condition.

But for better diagnosis and management , please consult the ENT specialist.

Thanks

Wish you good health

Thank you so much for the information . No one so far has been that helpful. When they did a CT scan of the temporal bone on the left side he said everything was clear and so were my sinus. Will Acute Otitis show on a CT. And will it hurt down my neck behind my ear? And this comes and goes it is not a constant pain.

Brief Answer:
No, acute otitis not seen in a CT scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi Maam,

I went through your query and follow up again and my opinion remains same. And CT scan is mainly done for the chronic suppurative otitis media to know the status of the temporal bone, malleus, incus and stapes, etc.

I would suggest you try the decongestant and pain killer along with antibiotics and steam inhalation. Your local doctor can help you with the prescription.

Thanks
