Brief Answer:
Give dicyclomine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Pain that comes and goes can be related to the intestinal spasms.
Give her Anti-spasmodic like dicyclomin.
Watch for associated symptoms.
If the symptoms persist it is better to go for clinical evaluation, examination, X-ray of the abdomen in standing position and relevant further investigations to get an appropriate diagnosis so that specific treatment can be started.
Such spasms in the upper left abdomen are due to colitis and/or enterocolitis.
Rarely kidney stones can cause such pains.
Hope I have answered your query.
