What Causes Pain Above Waistline While Walking?

Question: If your are standing in front of me,
I and having pain every so often just above my waistline on my left way below my heart. I feel a little pain when I walk or when I start to sit down. What is causing this dull pain? Do I need to see a doctor?

Consult your family doctor to rule out the heart ailment as soon as possible.
In my opinion you need to see the doctor,as the pain is very often and as you are old lady, to rule out any thing serious or not.
Still then from the facts given I suggest treatment as follows-
Get any anti-anginal medicine if your doctor has given you?
Take your food in small quantity.
Inform more on your life style?When the pain comes? does it come after walking /or eating ?
Get your stool and urine test done and report it to me.
Get ECG done as soon as possible.
