What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Penis During Urination And Ejaculation?

default
Posted on Fri, 19 Feb 2016
Question: My son called me from school and is having some burning in his penis when he urinates and also when he ejaculates. There is no swelling or itching, and there is no discharge from the penis. The urine is clear, not cloudy. He last had sex about three months ago. The pain is mainly in the head of the penis, just before the urine or ejaculate comes out, but subsides afterwards. This pain has been present for about 1 month.

Thank you. He reports that the pain has subsided for now. Does that mean the infection has cleared on its own? Should I still take him to the clinic when I go to see him?
