Brief Answer:
Too tight shoe can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Can you please attach a photo of it?

From your description you have a small hematoma under the nail. The most common reason of it is a compression. Too tight shoes are enough to cause it. So it might be the reason.
The best you can do is to put comfortable shoes. The hematoma can be left alone. It can take few months for it to disappear.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
