Please provide me more details
Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for asking from HCM
I can understand your concern. The symptoms of incomplete evacuation, awareness of bowel movements etc suggest more towards anxiety or possible irritable bowel syndrome. You have fear of cancer and this is probably due to hypochondriac ideas.
What are your main symptoms?
Any history of blood passing during defecation?
Any history of cancer in family?
Any investigations done so far?
Any treatment taken so far?
Please provide me these details in follow up.
Thanks

                                    Brief Answer:
The symptoms suggest health anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
You are 40, no family history and no symptoms that suggest colon cancer so in such case no need to get worried for cancer.
The stomach discomfort is not a common symptoms of colon cancer. It's not a specific symptom. History of anxiety in your case points towards hypochondriasis or health anxiety.
Please try to remain relaxed and stop thinking that you will develop cancer. The symptoms and your age don't suggest cancer.
If you are not able to reassure yourself then visit a psychiatrist for help. Drugs like Fluoxetine can help to reduce the intrusive ideas and fear. This will help in reducing the health anxiety.
Thanks Take care
