What Causes Pain And Indentation In The Neck?

As discussed in details below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/28 - swelling in neck - 2 months - no symptoms hence no attention - Dr said lymph node - antibiotic for 5 days - then ultrasound - internet search - may lead to cancer.
Dear friend, you are just 28 years.
This is not the age for any cancers and lymph nodes do not lead to cancer hence please stop worrying at the moment as we are discussing.
Secondly, it is only high resolution ultrasonography (HRUSG), FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) and if required the excision biopsy that will give sure-shot diagnosis.
Please take the antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen if it suits you for 5 to 10 days, let us see the results.
If the swelling is regressed or goes away, there is no chance that it is cancer.
If the swelling remains then as I said just above, HRUSG, FNAC and biopsy will give us the confirmed diagnosis.
Please stop internet search as it will give you stress and anxiety as there is no interaction.
I hope this answer helps you.
Please give feedback about the effectiveness of medication and further course of actions so that we can discuss further.
