Question : Since last few weeks, I have had pain in my right foot , it also goes numb sometimes, especially when I tie my shoe lace tight, I am worried if this has anything to do with high Cholesterol I might have, before this I also had couple of calf muscle cramps during nights even though they disappeared after a few time.

Three days ago I drove for 6 hours in a day and I have had extreme pain in the foot, I could also feel some muscle under my foot getting extended when I try to walk

Brief Answer:
some investigations are needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
Your symptoms can be related to high cholesterol levels. Muscle cramps can be due to deficiency of Calcium, Vitamin D3 or Vitamin E.
l would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by your doctor.
Following investigations may be helpful :-
1. Hemoglobin levels.
2. Blood sugar levels ( Fasting and PP ).
3. Vitamin B12 levels.
4. Vitamin D3 levels.
5. Lipid profile.
6. Thyroid profile.
7. Serum electrolytes.
8. Serum Calcium.
You should also get your blood pressure and heart rate monitored.
A clinical evaluation by your doctor and reports of the above mentioned investigations will help in planning further medical management.
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water daily.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Thanks.

Sure doctor, I am in the process of avoiding unhealthy foods, only eating veggies and have been doing some workouts as well, but my question was related to the estimated damage I might have done to myself , assuming that its with high cholesterol and is there a way to get to back to normalcy after this?
