Brief Answer:
Suggestive of neuropathy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your father's symptoms. These are suggestive of neuropathy, affecting the nerves located over thighs.

These are more common in patients with diabetes, however, can occur without diabetes also, due to compression of nerves in the groin.

The medications advised by his doctor are correct and may be continued.

This is a minor neurological problem, and it would heal with time in 4-6 weeks. There is no need to worry at this stage.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
