No truma. A smallarea near the eye
Brief Answer:
Soft tissue infection to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for the information.
Localized pain and tenderness without history of local trauma is usually due to soft tissue infections like folliculitis.
After confirming the diagnosis by a local examination, this can be treated with antibiotics and analgesics for a few days.If there is abscess collection inside,we will need a minor incision and drainage also(but this is unlikely for you).
If infection is ruled out, this just needs simple analgesics like ibuprofen for 3-5 days.
It will be fine if you could see your doctor so that we can have the correct diagnosis and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care.
Thank you.
