Brief Answer:
Dispersible aspirin in hot water and gargle

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Do you have fever?
Do you have ear discharge?
Do you have cough or cold or shortness of breath?

If yes to any of the above you might be infected with bacteria or virus. That would have inflammed the back of throat tissues, swollen and not letting you swallow or breath. What did your doctor say?

If you are NOT allergic to aspirin, take two tablets of dispersible Aspirin 150mg in quarter glass of water and gargle with the same. You can suck on popsicles, ginger honey, all will soothen the throat. Once you are fine please see a local doctor for throat examination and prescription of antibiotics.

Hope this is helpful.
