Brief Answer:
Get investigations done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

You have not mentioned any history of trauma , fever, weight-loss, night sweat so I am assuming it to normal.

There are numerous causes of pain and spasm in wrist e.g rheumatoid arthritis, gout, muscle or nerve irritation, dehydration, deranged calcium , magnesium , potassium, over use of wrist as in computer jobs.

Deficiency of vitamin B12, vitamin D is also very important cause.

So get your tests done including Potassium, calcium and magnesium levels, kidney function tests, vitamin B12 and D levels (25-OH vitamin D), serum uric acid, serum RA levels quantitative, E.S.R and send me the reports.

Till then you can take aceclofenac+ thiocolchicoside, drink plenty of water, have balanced diet including fruits, do stretching exercises for hand as uploaded on youtube.

Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening over wrist.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh
