Question: I have swelling at the base of my neck in the area of the collar bone on both sides. does not extend into the neck. No pain.

Did you recently have a cold or an infection in the head/neck region?

Hi,

These swellings probably represent lymph nodes. This could be normal if you had a recent infection as it is a well-documented reaction to infections.

If you had no recent infect in the head and neck region, I will recommend that you get it evaluated as it could represent a distant manifestation of a disease.

On another note, has there been any changes in your body weight, night fevers, fatigue?
