Brief Answer:
Consideration

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

There are a couple of possible causes of the symptoms you are experiencing. One possible cause would be something called epididymitis. This is an inflammation of part of the anatomy involved in that area of the body. Generally it is treated with antibiotics.

Another possible consideration is twisting of some of the tubing which connects your body to the testicle. For this reason I think you need to see your doctor for a good physical examination as this is an emergency.

lastly and probably most unlikely would be some type of testicular cancer.

If the symptoms are persistent I really think you should have your doctor take a look and perform a good physical examination to help provide a definitive diagnosis and to help you get diagnostic testing if he thinks it is warranted. Diagnostic testing usually includes a testicular ultrasound. This test will help your doctor identify any problems which might be going on under the skin.

Thanks again for sending your question.

please let us know if you have any additional specific concerns.

Sincerely,
