Question : Hello Doctor,
My daughter fell down while playing and hurt her chin. There was no blood however, some swelling. We applied ice/ turmeric however, even after 5 days, there is black spot. No pain. Could you please advise some medication? I am attaching photo.

I am Dr. Kakkar (Dermatologist). I have go e through your query and I have viewed the image.

Its a bruise. It will resolve by itself in about 2 weeks however you may give her a tablet of Vitamin C (chewable) once a day for 2 weeks.
