Brief Answer:
Need to have uric acid levels and doppler ultrasound of left leg

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be because of increased uric acid levels but apart from knee and left big toe pains, the swelling in calf isn't explained solely by that so it's preferable to have doppler ultrasound of left leg arteries and veins to check the patency of blood flow.

Supportive blood work up like ESR, CRP and CBC to look for other types of joint pains like infective or inflammatory may also be needed. An Xray of left knee and left foot may also be done to look for any signs of raised uric acid or any signs of age related erosive changes in joints.

Meanwhile analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be used for symptomatic relief. Warm compresses around joint and using local anti inflammatory creams like of diclofenac sodium can also be used.

For severe pains more potent analgesics like tramadol or nerve pain suppressants like gaba pentins can be used. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hope this has answered your query. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
