Question : Hi.

Please see the attaxhed pic , its my wifes thumb left hand , its paining and swelling as well, i showed to one doc he said there is infection and he gave anti biotic . But now there is more swelling and pain in her finger .

I have reviewed this image and for sure it is suggestive of a bacterial infection. I will like to know what antibiotics she is on. Also, report a complete list of her medications at this time. More swelling and pain is not unexpected as the antibiotics will take a few days before fully controlling the infection and arresting/reversing the swelling.
