Brief Answer:
Need to restrict water intake

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

You need to restrict the water and fluid intake, as plenty of water will counteract the medicine(Torsemide). The purpose of medicine is to increase the urine output and reduce the edema through excretion of excessive water.

Next thing is to find out the cause for it. It usually occurs due to kidney, heart or liver diseases. You should get an ECG, echocardiography, renal and liver function tests done to look for the cause. Further treatment can be directed according to cause.

Hope this helps you. Please get back if you have any doubts.
Regards
