What Causes Pain And Tingling In Arm After Taking Duromine?

Question: I have just recently started using duromine (the pills are actually Metermine) & am experiencing pain/soreness in my left arm with some tingling. Is this a common side effect?

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and noted your concern.
DUROMINE ( PHENTERMINE ) is an appetite suppressant prescription based medicine and is prescribed for weightloss in overweight or obese people.
It does have various side effects and the most common ones are.....nausea,vomiting,constipation,diarrhoea,insomnia,irritability,palpitations,headache,tiredness etc. Available data doesn't suggest that it causes any soreness or tingling in the arm but it can cause increase in blood pressure. Blood pressure increase in a heart patient may result in angina which may cause pain in arm but as such it doesn't cause pain or soreness or tingling in the arm.
I would advise you to consult your doctor and get your blood pressure monitored to be on safe side.
