Brief Answer:
Probably fungal infection, follow the advice below.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your symptom seems to be related to a fungal infection.
The pain that you feel is related to the inflammation.
Some advice that I can give to you are:
-use an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream
-you can also use oral antifungal medications. You should consult your doctor about this treatment.
-for the pain you can take anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day
-Wash and dry frequently the area
-Use cotton socks
-Avoid sugar in your diet

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help.
