Question : I have developed pain in the back of my ankle bones on booth of them they are not the heel but the bones that are above; I hope you understand - if I were to draw a line say from the middle of my calves I would reach these bones.
Any ideas what this might be?

This is called as Achilles tendinopathy. this is a inflammation of a tendon which is attach to the back of the ankle bone.
there are many causes of this inflammation - like wearing wrong shoes, wrong posture while walking, any arthritis etc.
You need to use ice packs, paracetamol and if not better see a rheumatologist for proper evaluation.
