Question : Experiencing pain behind my right knee and also on my left side (shoulder, chest area but on my side). I've had a cold since Friday and recently had some swelling under my left arm last week. I don't know if any of this related but felt it was important to mention. The pain isn't unbearable but uncomfortable. Also the pain on my left side hurts mostly when I am laying down even if I lay on the opposite side or on my back. I don't know what this may be or if I should head to the dr right away...
Also, I have tried using banagl (similar to icy hot and bengay) and it has seemed to have not affect on the pain.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX
Thank you for your response. I do not have a fever currently, I did have a slight fever Saturday night. I haven't taken any medication just stuck to soups, teas, lots of fluids, and rest for the most part. I have applied banagl cream to the parts that hurt to no avail however. My leg hurts when I move, however my side hurts when I am laying down no matter what position I lay.
